Methodology. For each of the 197 destination countries we counted how many of the other 196 nationalities can enter without arranging a visa before travel — that is, visa-free (including fixed-day and unlimited) plus visa on arrival. Electronic authorisations (eTA) and e-visas count as not open, because they must be obtained before departure. Data: VisaChecker, 2026, each rule linked to its official government source.
