UAE — visa on arrival for six more nationalities, if you hold the right residence permit

From 25 June 2026 the UAE grants a visa on arrival (14 days, AED 100, or 60 days, AED 250) to citizens of the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Kenya and South Africa — but ONLY if they hold a valid residence permit from the US, an EU country, the UK, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. Without one, the old rule stands: apply for a visa before you fly.
