These eleven nationalities lose visa on arrival rather than a visa-free stay, but they end up in the same place. Your nationality loses visa-free entry to Thailand on 15 September 2026. Four Interior Ministry notices appeared in Thailand's Royal Gazette on 31 August 2026 (vol. 143, special issue 207) and take effect on 15 September 2026. They repeal the July 2024 scheme that granted 60 days to 93 countries and replace it with a 30-day list of 60 countries and territories, a 15-day list of two, and visa on arrival for three. Your nationality is on none of them, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs list of bilateral visa-exemption treaties (Bilat_Ordinary, 12 December 2025) does not contain it either. From that date the route is an e-Visa obtained before departure through the official portal. Until 14 September inclusive you can still enter visa-free, and a stay already granted is not cut short. If you fly after that date, apply early — this is the change that strands people at check-in.
