Qatar — 'visa on arrival' for Russians was renamed 'visa-free entry'
Qatar's own visa checker now answers 'Enter visa-free' for Russian passports, and states plainly that visa-free entry is simply the new name for the old visa on arrival — nothing else changed. You still need a passport valid at least three months and a confirmed hotel booking on arrival. We were showing the old name, which made people expect a counter and a fee that no longer exist.
