Correction — Sri Lanka has no visa on arrival, and we said it did

We were wrong, and the way we were wrong is the way that gets someone stopped at check-in. Our data said 'visa on arrival' for almost every nationality. Sri Lanka does not have one. The Department of Immigration and Emigration requires every foreign national to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization BEFORE arriving. The ETA is free for 40 nationalities and paid for the rest — but free or paid, you get it before you fly. Fixed on 14 July 2026 across all 196 pages, and pinned in our verification suite so it can never come back.
