Colombia — visa waiver for Israelis restored, 90 days

The other half has now landed. Colombia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs formalised the reciprocal waiver in Resolution 12189 of 2026, announced on 11 September 2026: holders of ordinary passports travelling as tourists enter without a visa for up to 90 days within any 12-month period. Tourism only — it is not permission to work, study or do anything else that needs its own migratory permit. We carried this as merely announced while only Israel's side was documented; the Colombian act is the piece that was missing. Note that the resolution's own text is not published in machine-readable form on cancilleria.gov.co, so the 90-day figure comes from the Ministry's announcement as reported by Colombia's national press rather than from the decree itself. Separately, Colombia admits visa-required nationals who hold a valid Schengen or US visa or residence permit.
